When opening the tank in order to fill it up, a certain quantity of hazardous vapour escapes. In order to prevent this discharge and to reduce the emission, the Innovent® bag has been developed for all sorts of tanks.

Working principles of the Innovent® bag

The Innovent® bag is placed inside the tank of a car, tank truck, yacht or other fuel tank and fills at all times that space of the tank that is not taken up by the fuel. This prevents free air in the tank which can not mix with the fuel.

Advantages when using the Innovent® bag

• Reduces the emission as the fuel in the tank is unable to evaporate;
• fire and explosion risk are reduced considerably as the air and the dangerous fuel are separated;
• less fuel consumption as all the fuel is used for the engine and is unable to evaporate;
• prevents noise nuisance as the fuel is fixed and is therefore unable to slosh.
